Gerry Vermette has been guiding goose and duck hunts for over 20 years.   Winnipegosis is famous for it surpreme waterfowl hunts.   Lake Winnipegosis (Manitoba's second largest lake) to the north and premium grain land all around, this makes for a prime staging area for the migrating waterfowl.  There are numerous species of migrating waterfowl that pass through, such as Honkers, blue and snow geese, Sandhill cranes, mallards, pintails, redheads, canvas backs, lesser scaup (bluebills),blue and green wing teal, widgeon, gadwell and other puddle ducks.
